Before I went on vacation for wildlife and therefore by plane, I went to Schiphol quite regularly to spot planes. Not specifically for a code or a particular aircraft, but just to take pictures of an invention that made the world smaller.
There are two places where I photograph the planes, Schiphol, but also in Singapore (when I'm visiting family) where you can photograph some other airlines. My visit to Singapore is not without an afternoon at East Coast Park, Changi Village or on the gallery of the flat where my uncle and aunt live where I can photograph the planes. Now that I've flown over the years I do have a favourite. The plane spotter would immediately think that is the Boeing 747 or the "Queen of the Skies". But no!!! It is a beautiful plane, beautiful to photograph but a drama to fly with. No, my absolute favorite to photograph is the Airbus A380, also called "the Beast of the Skies" by me.
